Met Pow Electric Metering

For those of you that stayed with us in 2025, you will be aware that we, like many parks, introduced an electric metering system.  Whilst we still have this in place, we now switch this on remotely for you, so you do not have to log on and the app is no longer in use.  The reason for this is because it was unbelievably time consuming for many guests and for us to manage and the alternative was to take it all out.  It is a useful system to prevent misuse of electric and it also allows us to manage pricing for all.  For example, we have kept our prices the same from 2025 to 2026 this year due to people being more mindful of their electric use and people who use an above average amount of electric not being subsidised by those that use no/little/average electric.

You still have the same allocation as before which is:

April & October               12kWh per 24 hours

May & September            9 kWh per 24 hours

June, July & August          7kWh per 24 hours

This is based on an above average electric user for the time of year.

We have further taken the decision to allow this as an allocation across the whole stay – ie a 7 night stay will have 84 kWh in April (7 X 12kWh) and so on.  This is based on customer feedback/comments and fairness.

You can request text updates throughout/at the end of your stay, or a print-out at the end of your stay.

As your electric usage is monitored, any excess can then be settled at the end of your stay in cash or by bank transfer.
